The second proposal was the ratification of the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP, an independent registered public accounting firm, as the Company’s independent registered public accountants for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026. On June 11, 2026, Battalion Oil Corporation (the “ Company ”) convened its 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “2026 Annual Meeting ”), at which the Company’s stockholders voted on two proposals. The first proposal was to elect four nominees to serve as directors of the Company until the next annual meeting of stockholders, and until their successors are elected and qualified or until their earlier resignation, removal from office, death or incapacity.
